Welcome to the Getting Fit Naturally training site. Here you will find the information you need to find out more about my program, and how to be successful if you decide my program is right for you. My philosophy is simple; eat right, exercise, and stay hydrated. I don't think getting in shape should require a gym membership or those massive machines that only break muscle down. I use little equipment, therefore your body is the key tool used in getting back into shape.
My system is designed to introduce you to simple concepts of getting your body restored to a healthy state again. I will teach you how to start eating properly, how to exercise without a need to take a single step in the gym, and how to utilize each day to your advantage. The concepts I will teach helped me get back to a healthy state in less than 2 months! I am still on my way to the level and composition I wish to be, and you can be too!

How It Works
My program isn't magic, and I don't offer any magic pills or potions to get you there in a week. I don't require you go to any gym, or buy any silly equipment. What you can expect from my program is burning fat and excess calories that have been converted to fat over the years, using only your body, nature, light equipment, and healthy eating habits.
On a typical day, you could expect to go walking, jogging, hiking, or snowshoeing to start the days activities, followed by a stretching segment. After your muscles have been adequately stretched, you will then do some core conditioning to build muscle to replace the fat that is being burned. Without muscle to replace fat, you begin losing body mass, which leads to severe health problems down the road.
Lastly, I will give you "homework" to do on the days when you are not in session with me. This will generally consist of workouts targeting certain muscle groups on specific days, as well as circuits for Metabolic Conditioning to achieve "afterburn", which is basically burning calories up to 48 hours after you workout.

My Story
My name is Justin Brinkerhoff. I am a professional in the IT industry specializing in software development and systems adminstration. The problem working with computers all day, is that you are sitting down a lot. Therefore without any extra effort, you begin to gain weight as you are doing very sedentary activities.
Well my story begins 6 years ago. I just got out of high school, and started classes in Computer Programming at a local technical college. There, I met a girl who is now my wife. At the time, I was working typical grunt work jobs (no offense), such as fast food and retail. The advantage to those sorts of jobs, is you are constantly on your feet moving around.
Within a year or so, I began doing tech support jobs at call centers. I never changed my eating habits such as drinking soda, eating fast food, etc... But now I was sitting down at work all day taking calls. Within a few months, I noticed I started gaining weight. I went from a scrauny guy of 170 lbs with little muscle mass, to a husky guy over 200 lbs.
The next 5 years following that, were much the same, getting heavier and heavier. Before I knew it, I was nearing 300 lbs early 2008. I was 280 lbs give or take. I knew I had to do something about it before I started getting worse, and possibly invoking diseases like diabetes. I ate healthy for a period of time and lost 30 lbs, but then lapsed and started getting lazy again.
So this year, 2009, I put my foot down. I was tired of being fat and unhealthy. So starting April 20th, 2009, I began a journey to get to a healthy weight of 190 lbs. You can read my journy in the blog section. I set a 6 month goal, and I am already 1/4 of the way there. I am in the low 230's presently, but it is now mostly muscle. And I can tell you I am not going back! I feel great, and excited to be healthy again, and I anticipate the opportunity to help you get there too!
Prices
I try to make my pricing reasonable and appropriate. I offer my sessions in packages at affordable prices. I am willing to negotiate a per session payment arrangement if necessary from time to time. My packages are as follows:
- First Introductory Session - $50
- 5 Sessions - $300
- 10 Sessions - $450
- 20 Sessoins - $600
Payments can be made cash or check. If writing a check, I please ask that you have sufficient funds in your account prior to writing the check. I offer the option of a check as a courtesy, however if I have trouble with bad checks, I will be forced to discontinue the check option.
Payment is required before beginning the first session covered by that package of sessions. For convenience, I am willing to accept 50% down, and the other 50% paid within a month from that first session. If this is a need, please let me know when providing payment, and I will have you sign a promise to pay contract.
I am considering providing an online credit/debit card and paypal option. If I am shown interest in this option, I will be happy to write it up, so the option is available. Please let me know if you'd be interested in an online payment option.
